Funmilayo Ngozi is a Levite, coach, songstress, worshiper, teacher, student, an auntie, wife, friend, sister, and a follower of Christ the Lord. Having received classical formal training in music, Ngozi fell in love with the sound of Gospel music and the Gospel at an early age. It was her desire to use her gift not for pleasure but for testimonial moments of witness in which she could encourage, and spread a message of hope in the Lord. While her sound is unique and often mistaken for artists that have pioneered the sound of Soul, the message in her music continues to account for how great the Lord is.
Ngozi currently resides in Augusta, Georgia with her husband Samuel and is a Chorus teacher for the Richmond County School District. In her spare time she enjoys working on special projects with students, shopping, and serving in the church.
Worship Leader, Vocalist, Songwriter, Award Winning Recording Artist, GRAMMY nominated Music Educator, Choral Clinician, Vocal Producer, Music Producer.
